§ 2-20-23. Fees retained by surveyor.
There shall be paid to the surveyor, of the fees provided for in this chapter, for
            his or her own use, three cents (3¢) on every one thousand feet (1,000â€²) of pine,
            spruce, hemlock and juniper boards, planks, joists and sawed timber, four cents (4¢)
            on every ton of oak and other ship timber, six cents (6¢) on every one thousand feet
            (1,000â€²) board measure of mahogany, cedar and other ornamental lumber, ash, maple,
            birch and other hard wood.
