§ 19-6-1. Definitions.

For purposes of this chapter:

(1) "Companyâ€�, "controlâ€�, and "subsidiaryâ€� have the meaning set forth in the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, 12 U.S.C. § 1841 et seq.

(2) "Rhode Island bank-holding company� means any company, association, partnership, corporation, or any other entity, however formed, that controls a regulated institution.
