§ 16-93-2. Definitions.

For the purpose of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings:

(1) "Genocide,� as defined by the Genocide Convention: means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group, such as:

(i)Killing members of the group;
(ii)Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(iii)Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(iv)Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; and/or
