§ 16-8-7. School lunch programs — Definitions.
For the purposes of §§ 16-8-7 to 16-8-13:
(1) "Schoolâ€� is construed to mean any educational institution operated on a nonprofit
            basis, having a graded course of instruction with prescribed standards for the completion
            of each grade, with compulsory class attendance, and records of class work regularly
            maintained.
         
(2) "School boardâ€� includes city or town school committees or any person or group responsible
            for the operation of a private or a parochial school.
