§ 16-60-4.1. Granting of high school diplomas for World War II and Korean War veterans.
The board of regents shall have in addition to all the powers enumerated in § 16-60-1 and § 16-60-4 the authority to develop guidelines for issuing high school diplomas for World War
            II and Korean War veterans who left school early to fight in World War II or the Korean
            War. The board of regents shall develop and make available an application and a model
            diploma. The high school diploma shall be available to all veterans who left school
            in any grade to fight in World War II or the Korean War.
