§ 16-57-8. Designated agency.

The office of the postsecondary commissioner is designated the state agency to apply for, receive, accept, and disburse federal funds, and funds from other public and private sources, made available to the state for use as reserves to guarantee student loans or as administrative money to operate student loan programs, and is designated to administer any statewide programs of student assistance that shall be established under federal law.
