§ 16-38-10. Power of officials to visit schools.
Any school receiving aid from the state, either by direct grant or by exemption from
            taxation, may be visited and examined by the school committee of the city or town
            in which the school is situated, and by the board of elementary and secondary education
            or its duly authorized agents, and by the commissioner of elementary and secondary
            education or the commissioner's duly authorized agents, when they shall deem it advisable.
