§ 16-26-10. Annual report to general assembly.
The board of regents for elementary and secondary education shall annually in the
            month of January make a report to the general assembly of the state and condition
            of the school, and a statement of all expenses incurred for salaries, maintenance,
            tuition, and other items of current expense, together with an estimate of the amount
            of money necessary to meet the current expenses of the next year.
