§ 16-25.4-6. Severability.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to infringe upon the ability of a state university, college, or community college to establish degree requirements including foreign language requirements. If any provisions of this chapter or of any rule, regulation, or order made under this chapter, or its application to any person or circumstances, is held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter, rule, regulation, or order, and the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected by this invalidity.
