§ 16-24-3. Annual census of children with disabilities.
The school committee of every city and town shall annually ascertain, under regulations
            prescribed by the state board of regents for elementary and secondary education, in
            cooperation with the directors of human services and behavioral healthcare, developmental
            disabilities and hospitals, the number of children residing in the town or city of
            school age who have disabilities.
