§ 16-24-2. Regulations of state board.

It shall be the duty of the state board of regents for elementary and secondary education to set up regulations for the purpose of carrying out the intent of this chapter; and the regulations shall also be applicable in the administration of all educational programs operated and/or supported by the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals, human services, and corrections; the department of children, youth, and families and the board of regents shall report to the attorney general for the purpose of enforcing any noncompliance with its regulations for special education.
