§ 16-21-5.1. Carbon monoxide detectors required in school buildings.

Effective January 1, 2019, all school buildings where students are in attendance for any portion of the day shall be required to have carbon monoxide detectors installed and maintained therein, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the National Fire Protection Association ("NFPA�) Code and the state fire safety code ("state code�), chapter 28.1 of title 23. The fire safety code board of appeal and review (the "board�) established pursuant to chapter 28.3 of title 23 shall have authority to promulgate rules and regulations necessary to enforce the provisions of this
