§ 11-9.1-1. Receipts for installment payments for merchandise.
Any person selling merchandise on the installment plan shall give to every purchaser
            of the merchandise on the plan a receipt in writing for every installment paid on
            account of the price of the merchandise, and every such receipt shall show the balance
            of the price remaining unpaid after giving credit for the payment. Any person violating
            any of the provisions of this section shall be fined twenty dollars ($20.00).
