§ 11-41-8. Stealing of animals.

Every person who shall steal or attempt to steal any horse or other domestic animal shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than one year or by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or both; in case a fine is imposed, one-half (½) shall inure to the use of the complainant.
