§ 11-41-18. Defacement or conversion of rental battery.

Any person, other than the owner or the owner's duly authorized agent, who shall wrongfully or maliciously remove, deface, alter, or destroy, or cause to be removed, defaced, altered, or destroyed, the word "rental� printed, painted, stamped upon or attached to any electric storage battery, or who shall wrongfully sell, give, or attempt to sell or give to any person any electric storage battery so marked, or who shall, without the written consent of the owner, retain in his or her possession any electric storage battery so marked, with intent to wrongfully keep or dispose of the battery by sa
