§ 11-33-7. Perjury or false swearing — Child support.
Every person who shall violate any provision of this chapter in any case or controversy
            involving the abandonment or nonsupport of a child pending before the family court
            or any other tribunal or agency of competent jurisdiction shall be guilty of a felony
            and shall be imprisoned for a term not to exceed twenty (20) years.
