§ 11-25-13. Federal prisoners.
Prisoners arrested within this state under the authority of the United States or sentenced under the authority of any court under the authority of the United States held within the territorial limits of the first, second, or third judicial circuit of the United States as constituted on April 26, 1956, except Puerto Rico, shall be committed under the authority of the United States to any adult correctional institution and payment shall be made of the expense of maintaining and supervising those prisoners.
