§ 11-19-45. Severability.
If any section of this chapter or its application to any person or circumstance is
            held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the chapter and
            the application of the section to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.
            The invalidity or unconstitutionality of any section or sections or part of any section
            or sections of this chapter shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this
            chapter and to this end the sections of this chapter are severable.
