§ 11-19-2. Unauthorized sale of lottery tickets.
Every person not authorized by the Rhode Island state police who shall sell or expose
            to sale any ticket, or certificate in the nature of a ticket, or share in any ticket
            or certificate in the nature of a ticket, in any lottery set up within or without
            this state, shall be fined for every such ticket, certificate or share of the ticket
            or certificate by that person sold or exposed to sale not exceeding fifty dollars
            ($50.00).
