§ 11-18-9. Penalty for financial misrepresentations.
Any person violating the provisions of §§ 11-18-6 — 11-18-8 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be punished for each
            offense by imprisonment not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding five hundred
            dollars ($500), or both.
