§ 11-18-12. Injunction of false advertising.

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, when it appears to the director of business regulation of the state of Rhode Island that any person, firm, corporation, or association is violating any of the provisions of § 11-18-10, the director of business regulation may cause to be instituted an action, commenced in the name of the director of business regulation in his or her capacity as director of business regulation, to enjoin the violation in the superior court and the court shall have jurisdiction to enjoin and/or restrain any person, firm, corporation or association from violatin
