§ 1-4-14. Enforcement — Cooperation of public agencies.
(a) It is the duty of the president and CEO, and every state and municipal officer charged
            with the enforcement of state laws to enforce and assist in the enforcement of this
            chapter. The president and CEO is further authorized in the name of the state to enforce
            the provisions of this chapter by appropriate proceedings in the superior courts of
            this state. Other departments and political subdivisions of this state are authorized
            to cooperate with the president and CEO in the development of aeronautics within this
            state.

The president and CEO is further authorized in the name of the state to enforce the provisions of this chapter by appropriate proceedings in the superior courts of this state. Other departments and political subdivisions of this state are authorized to cooperate with the president and CEO in the development of aeronautics within this state.

(b) The president and CEO, and selected employees of the Rhode Island airport corporation to whom such powers may be delegated in the discharge of the duties of their office, have, in any part of the state, the same authority to make arrests for violation of the statutes, laws, rules, and regulations relating to aviation and airport security matters, and to enforce those statutes, laws, rules, and regulations, as regular constituted law enforcement officers in the state.

(c) The president and CEO shall issue to each selected employee credentials showing his or her authority to arrest, which credentials shall be carried upon the person of the designated employee while in the performance of his or her duties.
