§ 7514 — Payments involving one political subdivision

(a)General rule.--All bills or claims to be paid from any appropriation made by a political subdivision coterminous with the local organization, after first being approved by the local organization or an appropriate officer thereof designated for that purpose, shall be paid from the treasury of the political subdivision only upon the warrant or order of the officer or officers of the political subdivision designated by law to approve or countersign warrants or orders for the payment of the ordinary expenses of the political subdivision, and shall be subject to audit in the same manner as other financial transactions of the political subdivision.
