Text

The provisions of ORS 98.640 and 98.642 shall not apply to trees, timber, logs, poles or piling which have been placed or deposited or allowed to remain upon the right of way of a state highway or real property adjacent thereto under the provisions of a permit granted by the Department of Transportation, nor to poles erected upon the right of way of a state highway for the purpose of carrying telegraph, telephone or electric lines or wires.
