(1)Except as provided in subsections (2) and (3) of this section, a person may not use a motor for propelling a boat or for any purpose on the following named waters of this state:

Counties Lakes, Reservoirs and Rivers
Clackamas Trillium Lake
Deschutes Charlton, Devils, Irish, Lucky,
North and South Twin, Taylor,
Three Creek and Todd Lakes
Douglas Opal and Timpanagos Lakes
Hood River Lost Lake
Jackson Squaw Lakes
Jefferson Horseshoe, Dark and Olallie
Lakes, and on that portion of
the Deschutes River between
Pelton Dam and the Wasco
County line
Lane Gold Lake
Linn Clear Lake
Marion Breitenbush Lake
Wasco Frog Lake, and on that portion
of the Deschutes River
bordering the Warm Springs
Indian Reservation
