Text

(1)A person commits the offense of unlawfully requiring repair for certification with pollution control requirements if the person requires as a condition of the issuance of a certification of compliance described under ORS 815.310 or proof of certification described under ORS 468A.810 any repairs or services unnecessary for compliance with ORS 803.591 or with rules or standards adopted under ORS 468A.350, 468A.355, 468A.365 and 468A.385.
(2)The offense described in this section, unlawfully requiring repair for certification of compliance with pollution control requirements, is a Class A misdemeanor, but each day of violation does not constitute a separate offense.
