Text
(1)A trust carrying out a multiple employer welfare arrangement may not be permitted to join or contribute financially to any insurance insolvency guaranty fund or similar mechanism in this state. Neither such a trust nor its insureds may receive any benefit from any such fund for claims arising out of the operations of the multiple employer welfare arrangement.
(2)A trust carrying out a multiple employer welfare arrangement may not participate in any joint underwriting association or mandatory liability pool established under the laws of this state.
