Text
The following persons are exempt from ORS 744.300:
(1)An employee of an insurer, when the employee is acting as a managing general agent for the insurer.
(2)A United States manager of the United States branch of an alien insurer.
(3)An underwriting manager who, pursuant to contract, manages all the insurance operations of the insurer, is under common control with the insurer and is subject to ORS 732.517 to 732.596, and whose compensation is not based on the volume of premiums written.
(4)The attorney or attorney-in-fact authorized by and acting for the subscribers of a reciprocal insurer or interinsurance exchange under powers of attorney.
