Text

(1)A health benefit plan, as defined in ORS 743B.005, that provides coverage of radiation therapy for the treatment of prostate cancer must provide coverage for proton beam therapy for the treatment of prostate cancer on a basis no less favorable than the coverage of radiation therapy including with respect to prior authorization or other utilization review requirements.
(2)This section is exempt from ORS 743A.001.
