Text

(1)If a person has duly filed a written request for a hearing or if, within 10 days after an acquiring party has filed a completed statement under ORS 732.523, the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services finds that holding a hearing is necessary or advisable, the director shall cause a hearing to be held.
(2)The hearing must be held at a time and place the director designates within 30 days after the written request for a hearing was filed or within 30 days after the date of the director’s order for a hearing to be held. In addition to any other notice required under ORS chapter 183, at least 20 days before the hearing the director shall notify the person that filed the written request and the acquiring party of the hearing.
