Text

(1)The provisions, procedures and requirements of ORS chapter 60 relating to a registered office, registered agent and to service of process, notice and demand shall govern all insurers transacting insurance in this state, whether authorized or unauthorized, except that the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services shall be substituted for the Secretary of State as the person with whom all filings shall be made and upon whom, in the circumstances specified by statute, such service may be effected.
(2)This section shall not apply to insurers for whom a certificate of authority is not required under ORS 731.374.
