(1)Before a person first takes office as director, president or chief executive officer of a banking institution, the name of the person shall be submitted to the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services, with any information about the person that the director may require.
(2)The director shall investigate each person whose name is submitted under this section to determine the character, honesty, financial responsibility and competence of the person. In the course of investigating any person under this section, the director may require the person to provide additional information for the director’s further inquiry. For the purpose of such further inquiry, the director may require the person to submit to fingerprinting. Fingerprints acquired under this subsection may b
