Text
(1)In addition to any other penalty provided by law, a person who violates any provision of ORS 703.401 to 703.490 or any rule adopted thereunder:
(a)Is subject to payment of a civil penalty in an amount of not more than $500 for each offense; and
(b)May be assessed the costs of the disciplinary proceedings as a civil penalty.
(2)Notwithstanding subsection (1)(a) of this section, if a person violates ORS 703.405, the person is subject to payment of a civil penalty in an amount of not more than $5,000 for each violation with maximum penalties not to exceed $10,000 per year.
