Text
(1)The Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine is created, consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor and subject to confirmation by the Senate in the manner provided in ORS 171.562 and 171.565. All members of the board must be residents of this state. Of the members of the board:
(a)Five must be naturopathic physicians who have each practiced continuously in this state for the five years immediately prior to the date of appointment.
(b)Two must be members of the general public who are not naturopathic physicians or a spouse, domestic partner, child, parent or sibling of a naturopathic physician.
(2)(a) The Governor may select the members of the board who must be naturopathic physicians from a list of three to five nominees for each vacancy, submitted by a professional organiza
