Text
(1)Vending machines dispensing only ball chewing gum, nutmeats and the following prepackaged foods: Candy, chewing gum, nutmeats, potato chips, pretzels, popcorn, cookies, crackers and bottled or canned soft drink beverages shall be exempt from the provisions of ORS 624.320 and 624.430.
(2)The Oregon Health Authority may, by rule, exempt certain other types of vending machines from the license requirements of ORS 624.310 to 624.430 when it appears that there is no danger to the life and health of the people of this state.
(3)The provisions of ORS 624.310 to 624.430 do not include commissaries, mobile units or vending machines which are presently licensed and inspected by the State Department of Agriculture or United States Public Health Service.
