(1)When any amendment is made in the laws of this state or new regulations are promulgated relating to a change in the grades of milk or the operation of pasteurizing equipment, the State Department of Agriculture may require any person licensed by the department to demonstrate knowledge and familiarity with the amendments or changes and ability to comply with them.
(2)Any person who becomes subject to the provisions of this section has not less than 30 nor more than 60 days to meet the additional requirements. If, at the expiration of 60 days, the person licensed has not demonstrated knowledge and ability in respect to the additional requirements, the applicable license shall be suspended automatically.
