Text

(1)Subject to ORS 571.489 (2), expenditures of moneys for a fiscal year unforeseen at the time the Oregon Hemp Commission budget is prepared may be made or incurred by order of the commission. When an unforeseen expenditure of moneys occurs in a fiscal year, the commissioners must approve a motion for an order of a fund transfer. The motion must include:
(a)The amount and purpose of the expenditure and why the expenditure was unforeseen;
(b)A request for the certification by the Director of Agriculture of the order;
(c)The specific major category of the budget to which the specific funds are to be allocated; and
(d)The specific major category of the budget from which the funds are to be transferred.
