Text

When removing or destroying drifts or drifting material in rivers or streams or on land that has been flooded the county shall:

(1)Have the right to enter upon any land for purposes of inspection, removal and destruction of drifts and drifting material.
(2)Give reasonable notice to owners of salvable material that the county has salvaged their property and that if such property has not been reclaimed or arrangements made for its removal within a reasonable time but in no event less than 30 days the county will dispose of the property by sale and, after deducting the amount necessary to reimburse the county for removal costs, hold the balance for one year for the owner.
