Text

Subject to confirmation by the Senate in the manner provided in section 4, Article III, Oregon Constitution, the Governor shall appoint a Water Resources Director. The director shall be an individual qualified by training and experience and shall serve for a term of four years at the pleasure of the Governor. The director or a principal assistant must be a registered engineer experienced in water-related engineering.
