Text
(1)The State Fire Marshal may issue subpoenas to compel the production of records, documents, books, papers, memoranda or other information necessary to determine compliance with any provision of ORS 480.310 to 480.385 or any rule adopted by the State Fire Marshal.
(2)If a person fails to comply with any subpoena issued under subsection (1) of this section, a judge of the circuit court of any county, on application of the State Fire Marshal, shall compel obedience by proceedings for contempt as in the case of disobedience of the requirements of a subpoena issued from the circuit court.
