Text

The State Fire Marshal, in making rules and regulations establishing minimum standards for the protection of life and property against fire, shall consider as evidence of generally accepted standards the applicable standards prescribed from time to time by the National Fire Protection Association. The State Fire Marshal may request consideration and recommendations from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training before adopting any such regulations.
