(1)Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, a person may not install a new bottle-type water dispenser, commercial hot food holding cabinet, compact audio product, digital versatile disc player, digital versatile disc recorder, portable electric spa, television, inductive charger system, large battery charger system, small battery charger system, high light output double-ended quartz halogen lamp, high color-rendering index fluorescent lamp, computer, computer monitor, commercial fryer, commercial steam cooker, commercial dishwasher, residential ventilation fan or spray sprinkler body for compensation unless the energy efficiency of the new product meets or exceeds the minimum energy efficiency standards specified in ORS 469.233.
