Text
The Department of Environmental Quality shall establish percentages of plastic material that must be recycled before a recycling program is considered an effective recycling program. In establishing the percentages the department:
(1)Shall establish percentages for each different type of plastic resin;
(2)Shall require that at least 15 percent of each plastic resin type be recycled statewide in 1992; and
(3)May not establish a required percentage of more than 75 percent before December 31, 1999.
