(1)(a) A plan submitted under ORS 459A.159 and approved by the Department of Environmental Quality under ORS 459A.165 is valid for five years.

(b)At least 180 days before the expiration of a plan approved under ORS 459A.165, the stewardship organization shall submit the plan to the department to be reapproved for an additional five years. A plan submitted under this paragraph must include proposed improvements based on the results of the study conducted under ORS 459A.174 (4)(a).

(2)Notwithstanding ORS 459A.159, the initial plan submitted by a stewardship organization is not required to include the information described in ORS 459A.159 (1)(g) or (L). A stewardship organization operating a mattress stewardship program shall first submit the information described in ORS 459A.159 (1)(g) and

(1)(a) A plan submitted under ORS 459A.159 and approved by the Department of Environmental Quality under ORS 459A.165 is valid for five years.

A stewardship organization operating a mattress stewardship program shall first submit the information described in ORS 459A.159 (1)(g) and (L) pursuant to the notification procedures set forth in ORS 459A.168 (3) no later than two years after implementation of the mattress stewardship program.
