Text

Notwithstanding ORS 455.040, a county may by ordinance:

(1)Exempt owner-built dwellings and outbuildings in any rural area within that county from compliance with the structural code, except as provided in ORS 455.340; and
(2)Establish maximum value or size limitations for structures exempted from the structural code under subsection (1) of this section.
