Text
In lieu of the surety bond required by ORS 454.705, an applicant for a license required by ORS 454.695 may deposit, under the same terms and conditions as when a bond is filed, the equivalent value in cash or negotiable securities of a character approved by the State Treasurer. The deposit is to be made in a bank or trust company for the benefit of the Department of Environmental Quality. Interest on deposited funds or securities shall accrue to the depositor.
