Text
(1)The Legislative Assembly intends to provide a procedure to assure that Oregon assumes fullest responsibility for administration and enforcement of federal manufactured housing safety and construction standards in Oregon in accordance with the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-383).
(2)The Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services is authorized to apply for and receive grants from the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for implementation and development of a plan for enforcement and administration of federal manufactured housing safety and construction standards for manufactured housing offered for sale or lease in this state.
(3)The director is authorized to adopt rules pursuant to ORS chapter 183 to
