Text

No facility, or any person subject to the supervision, direction or control of a facility, shall retaliate against a resident by increasing charges, decreasing services, rights or privileges, or threatening to increase charges or decrease services, rights or privileges, by taking or threatening any action to coerce or compel the resident to leave the facility, or by abusing or threatening to harass or to abuse a resident in any manner, after the resident or the resident’s legal representative has engaged in exercising rights given under ORS 441.605 or under rules of the Department of Human Services under ORS 441.610.
