Text
(1)The owner of the animal shall present by mail or otherwise the inoculation certificate, together with the fee fixed pursuant to ORS 433.380, if any, to the clerk of the county in which the owner resides.
(2)The county shall upon receipt of the fee and presentation of the certificate issue to the owner a serial-numbered tag, legibly identifying its expiration date as such date is determined in accordance with rules of the Oregon Health Authority relating to intervals of inoculation. The tag shall be designed for and shall be attached to a collar or harness that must be worn by the dog for which the tag and certificate are issued at all times when off or outside the premises of the owner.
