Persons committed to the custody of the Department of Corrections and placed in the physical custody of the Oregon Youth Authority under ORS 137.124 or any other statute:

(1)Are entitled to the protection and benefits of ORS 655.505 to 655.555.
(2)Are not entitled to the protection and benefits of ORS chapter 656 or 657.
